Quick answer: Global Village Season 31 opens on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 at 6pm and runs until May 2027. After opening night, it’s open from 4pm to midnight Sunday to Wednesday, and 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday. Tickets cost AED 25 Monday to Thursday and AED 30 Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.
Global Village is one of our most-booked evening runs every season. Hotel pickups, family groups, and the late-night collections when the car park is chaos. Everything below is the official information, plus the parts nobody tells you until you’re stuck in the exit queue at 1am.

Tuesdays: In past seasons, Tuesdays were for ladies and families only, except on public holidays. Global Village hasn’t confirmed it for Season 31 yet, so check before planning a group visit with friends on a Tuesday.
Closing date: Global Village usually confirms the last day in spring. Last season it closed on 31 May 2026 after a three-week extension for the Eid Al Adha holidays. We’ll update this page as soon as the Season 31 closing date is announced.
Ramadan and Eid: The season runs through both. Hours usually shift later during Ramadan, and Eid weekends are the busiest nights of the year.
Global Village Ticket Prices 2026–27
| Ticket | Price |
|---|---|
| WeekdayMonday – Thursday | AED25/ person |
| Weekend+ Public holidaysFriday – Sunday | AED30/ person |
The prices are the same as last season, with one change that will catch people out: Sunday is now a weekend ticket. If you’re on a budget, go Monday to Thursday.
Buy tickets on the official Global Village website or app, or at the gate from opening day. Fake ticket sites show up every season, so stick to official channels. Rides at Carnaval and some attractions cost extra on top of entry. In past seasons, children under three, adults aged 65 and over, and People of Determination with one companion got in free.
Best Time to Visit Global Village
The gates open at 4pm, but most people arrive between 7pm and 9pm. That’s when the queues, the parking hunt and the food-stall lines are at their worst. Here’s what we tell guests.
- Arrive at 4:30pm on a weekday. You get an hour of daylight to walk the pavilions in peace, then watch the whole park light up at sunset.
- Do the rides first, around 6pm. Carnaval queues grow all evening. Once it’s dark, save the Ferris wheel for the view.
- Avoid Friday and Saturday after 8pm if you have small kids. It’s packed, and leaving can take as long as getting in.
- Plan your exit, not just your arrival. Around 11pm on weekends, thousands of cars try to leave at once. The road back to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road crawls. Leaving at 10:15pm, or after 12:30am, makes a huge difference.
- Check the fireworks night before you go. Fireworks and parades usually run on weekend nights, which is great for the show but tough for parking.
Global Village Parking and VIP Parking
| Parking | Cost | Distance / notes |
|---|---|---|
| PP1 and P3 | Free | ~400m from Gate of the WorldFills up early in the evening |
| PP5 | Free | ~450m from Gate of the World |
| PP7 – P11Overflow | Free | ~1km outWeekends and busy days only. Free shuttle, or a rickshaw from AED 10 |
| PPaid Parking 2 | AED75/ day | ~350m from Happiness Gate |
| PPaid Parking | AED120/ day | Weekdays and weekends |
| VIPVIP ParkingNew for S31 | AED200/ day | Free for VIP pack holders. New for Season 31: pay at self-service machines |
That’s AED 200 just to park close on a busy night, and you still have to queue out of the car park at the end.
The easier option: let someone else deal with it. A chauffeur drops you at the gate, waits or comes back when you message, and picks you up at the gate. No parking fee, no hunt for a space, no queue to get out. For families with grandparents or small children, it’s the difference between a good night and an exhausting one. See our chauffeur service in Dubai, or book a car with driver by the hour for the whole evening.
How to Get to Global Village
Global Village is in Dubailand, on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311). There’s no Salik gate on the E311 itself, so most routes in are cheap on tolls. If your route uses Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Khail Road, check our Salik timing guide.

- Bus: RTA runs four public bus routes to Global Village from major areas of Dubai. Check the S’hail app for current routes and times. It’s cheap, but the last buses fill up fast at closing time.
- Taxi: Easy to get there. Coming back on a weekend night, expect a long taxi queue at the gates.
- Private driver: Door to door, from your hotel to the gate and back. Staying in Abu Dhabi or Sharjah? Our car with driver in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah services cover the round trip. Combining it with sightseeing? Add Global Village as the evening stop on a private Dubai city tour.
